The Cushman & Wakefield Women’s Integrated Network (WIN) recently held three panel discussions—the WIN Conversation Series—in Dallas, Nashville and Los Angeles during Q2 and Q3 2018. The theme was Connect. Empower. Inspire., and focused on current trends in the market and our company’s goals surrounding leadership, development, and the future for women in the commercial real estate industry.
Los Angeles featured panelists Andrew McDonald, President-West Region; Christina Rouch, Managing Principal-Las Vegas; Karinna Cassidy, Managing Director; and Imogen Rogers, HR Business Partner. The discussion focused on distinct differences between being a leader or a manager, understanding the best ways to close the gender gap, opening up the dialog of communication between men and women, as well as creating an inclusive environment.
Christina discussed her personal journey and reinventing herself, which led her to be a stronger and better leader.
Following the event, Hanna Kim Yoon, who co-chairs the Los Angeles WIN Chapter, said “Our panelists were candid, funny, and authentic, drawing from their personal experiences to speak about leadership and inspiring us to stretch ourselves. We appreciate that WIN provides opportunities like these to elevate and develop our leaders as well as giving our members a chance to build connections with one another during events.”
