L to R: Doug Scott, Minerva Maturino, Sarah Peevey, Andrew McDonald, Owen McDonald, Brian Yeretzian, and Danielle Yeretzian

A Cushman & Wakefield team made up of Jennifer Price, Brian Yeretzian, Sarah Peevey, Minerva Maturino, Doug Scott, and Los Angeles and Orange County market leader Andrew McDonald competed in the 5th Annual Heart of the City 5K, an event benefitting the California Hospital Medical Center Foundation in Downtown LA.

The 5K was a pledge-based fundraiser with the opportunity to walk or run with friends and family while supporting a hospital that is positively affecting the quality of life in Los Angeles. California Hospital Medical Center, a Dignity Health member, believes all patients deserve compassionate, high-quality health services, regardless of their social or economic status. The family-friendly event also included Andrew McDonald’s nine-year-old son Owen and Brian Yeretzian’s wife Danielle, a former Cushman & Wakefield employee.

The team ran 3.1 miles through the heart of Los Angeles with the medical center serving as both the start and the finish line. Afterwards, they enjoyed race festivities that included awards, live music, and a pancake breakfast.

“It was uplifting to spend the morning with colleagues and in support of such a wonderful cause right in our own backyard,” said Regional Managing Principal Andrew McDonald.

With a total of 1,200 participants, the event raised $238,000 for California Hospital Medical Center. For more information, visit www.heartofthecity5k.org
