Rooney Daschbach, Steve Bohannon, Rusty Smith, Eric Daschbach, and Monica Umpant in Cushman & Wakefield’s Long Beach office, in collaboration with their client PGIM, recently hosted their open house and second annual food drive. The team, who focuses on industrial brokerage in LA’s South Bay area, was successful in collecting over 500 cans of dry and non-perishable foods to donate to local charity Foodbank of Southern California.

“We started our annual food drive because we really wanted to give back to the community, especially during the holidays,” said Senior Director Rooney Daschbach. “We are proud to work with Foodbank of Southern California to help local residents in need.”

Foodbank of Southern California, whose mission is to provide basic sustenance and proper nutrition to the community’s hungry citizens focusing on the “poorest of the poor” neighborhoods in downtown Los Angeles, Compton, San Pedro, South Central, Watts, and North Long Beach, has been providing food to impoverished children, families, and seniors in Los Angeles County since 1975.
